Second Story Deck Removal
The beams on the second story deck were starting to rot, and there was a possibility of the rot traveling into the wall because of how it was framed. So we removed the deck and beams, replacing the patio slider with a window, making sure that it would seem natural like the window was meant to be there.

Pump House
This used to be an attached covered woodshed, our client wanted us to switch it into a pump house so that they could take the water pressure tank out of their kitchen pantry. So we insulated it, put a front wall and door in, covered up the walls with plywood and ran the pressure tank through the back wall of the shed.

Deck Replacement
We redid this 200 sqf deck on the back of our clients house using Azek Advanced PVC decking in the american walnut color, with a stained doug fir skirting. The reason why we used a PVC decking was because it had roughly double the life span of other medium grade decking while staying similar in price, so our client decided to use it instead. We hadn’t used Azek Decking yet, but we were quite pleased with the ease of use for working with it.

Sun Room Remodel
This sun room had a water leak coming in through the windows, the decision to make it into a deck was due to the fact it would be more time and cost efficient than to replace and preserve what was there. So our client wanted it to be turned into a deck instead with plenty of airflow so that water would not be trapped and would dry.

Re-Staining Intricate Railing
In order to get a uniform finish on this, we used a wire brush then a dust brush to clean all visible surfaces. Since there were a lot of surfaces it took a while to prep and stain, but after doing two coats of stain we were able to achieve a uniform coverage and look.

Ornamental Arch Over Entryway
The arch is purely ornamental, the roof is supported by the posts and soffit, but the client wanted to have a beam feature on the front of the house. Our goal was to create something interesting with a curve, and to make it seem like it was helping hold up the roof without it actually doing so. The arch was created by cutting an oversized beam into shape.

Lock Miter Beam and Wall Cap
We started by taking off the old wall and beam cap, then we made the new lock miter caps. They wanted the fasteners to be hidden so figuring out how to do it in a way that hid them took time, it was extremely important to put them in in a specific order.
