Taichi House, Structural Shell

This is a before and after example of creating the structural shell. Once we stripped the old siding and the exterior foam insulation off the walls we examine for any damage from moisture or pests. Replacing insulation as needed, then we clean and prepare the framing for the zip system sheathing. We install the flashing around the window opening while we wait for the window install, once we pass the nailing inspection we can tape the seams and add sealant where necessary to create a weather proof and airtight wall assembly.
