Custom Master Bedroom Update

These clients wanted to update their master bedroom and hide the entertainment cords by adding an electric fireplace insert and surround sound. This design was intended to tie in elements from their bathroom cabinets and living room fireplace. We built a 2x6 frame, hiding the cords from the fireplace and entertainment electronics inside, then finished with a stained pine top and faux stone tile over plywood. The drywall wrap and baseboard really tied the whole assembly into the existing room, making it look natural like it was meant to be there.
