Flume Build

The client wanted us to replace the flume on their property, the original was made out of redwood and lasted quite a while, but eventually wood around water rots, they wanted to be able to control how much water was going downstream or to the pond. Since we were messing with a creek we had to get permission from fish and game, divert the creek then start our work. We formed the flume with 2x4’s and 2x8’s then put in rebar and filled with concrete, letting it sit for a day or two then took the forms off and diverted the creek back to where it was originally flowing.
